Community-Informed Policies

Your Partner in Building Communities

The Omaha Municipal Land Bank (“OMLB”) seeks to update its current Land Disposition Policies and Procedures to become more community-informed policies that will advance the transformation of vacant, abandoned, and dilapidated properties within underinvested neighborhoods. The planning process will examine best practices from peer cities and explore the possibility of incorporating wealth-building and anti-displacement practices where available. Through this effort, OMLB seeks to be a leading champion for equitable development for affordable housing and a committed partner with a range of strong community-based organizations, resident leaders, and other neighborhood stakeholders throughout Omaha.
